CECOTTO, LEONOR. A student of Francis Eugene Charles and the Brazilian painter Rossi, Miss Cecotto was born in Argentina in 1922 but carne as a child to Paraguay. She won first prize in the Autumn Salon, 1951, had her first one-man show in 1952, and participated in collective exhibits in Chicago, São Paulo, and Santiago de Chile. She teaches drawing and painting at the Women's Cultural Institute. Asunción, and directs a private art school. Her canvases and xylographs appear in many private collections at home and abroad.
