GUITARRA (Polca, letra de MANUEL FRUTOS PANE)

“GUITARRA”

(POLCA)

Letra: MANUEL FRUTOS PANE

Música: FLORENTÍN GIMÉNEZ

“GUITARRA”

-. Guitarra,
sangre heroica de la patria mía
tiene su són marcial
cuando evocas las gestas guerreras
y retumba el tambor en tus cuerdas
noble y triunfal.

-. Guitarra,
canto y ruego de ave enamorada
tu melodía es
cuando reclamas y desesperas
por la dicha que esquiva te niega
una mujer.

2ª…… - Guitarra,
……… guitarra que en las noches
……… te vuelves sentimental
……… reclamando el amor que sueñas
……… para tu felicidad.
……… - Guitarra,
……… guitarra de mi pueblo
……… que tienes para el amor
……… el filo de un cuchillo
……… o la miel de una canción.

1ª
-. Guitarra,
eres como el hombre paraguayo
que al no poder llorar
se hace un tronco duro de coraje
y redime sus hondas angustias
en un cantar.
-. Guitarra,
eres un pedazo de mi tierra
si lejos tú te vas,
llegue a escucharte en patrias extrañas
y contigo no tuve vergüenza
para llorar!

2ª. (bis).
