RIQUELME, WILLIAM. Born in Asunción in 1944, Riquelme is a student of architecture as well as painting. His works have appeared in the second Latin-American Congress of Art in Mexico, 1962, and in Asunción in the sixteenth Spring Salon, 1963, and in 1964 at the Salon Asedio and New Paraguayan Painting at the Martel Gallery. He often contributes illustrations to a literary magazine published in Asunción.
